First I must say, it has been pretty awesome to have some of my favorite bloggers make The Staple Dress!
Now, I've asked seven of these talented ladies to help me celebrate the PRINTED pattern with a blog hop this week.
Each day I will post a little intro to announce who to hop to. Be sure to head to their sites and check out their dresses! Each blogger will be giving away a copy of the printed pattern to one lucky reader!!!
Starting things off is the ever-so-lovely, Aneela Hoey!
I have been a big Aneela fan since her debut, Sherbet Pips (of which I'm still hording several pieces). Just the word "Pips" is precious to me. As are all of her prints!
I had the pleasure of meeting her briefly at Market. It's been more then a year ago now... I remember she was showing my favorite of her lines, A Walk in the Woods (I am also stashing some that one... a few colors of Little Red for my girlies, plus I have a couple yards of Foxes in Icing waiting to become a special something for myself..).
Anyways, I was surely tripping over myself when we met. I'm not always sure what to say after "I love your fabric! Your quilts are amazing! Oh, I love this. And this. And..." It's strange, when you read someone's blog or otherwise follow them, you can grow to be very fond of them. Feeling as if you know them in a way. But they don't really know you. Then, if you meet them you don't know what to do! It was like that for me with Aneela. I really, really liked her. But she didn't know me. After meeting her I liked her even more.
So, I probably blushed :)
Then, when I first saw that she was stitching up a Staple Dress via the good-old IG feed I was quite shocked. Thrilled, giddy, nervous, and honored all at once. The best kinds of shocked. Then she blogged about it! And she liked that it had pockets! And that, of course, made me feel super happy!!!! :D
Now hop over to her blog and see what she's got to say about it!
