The following corrections are for printed versions of The Popover Poncho paper sewing pattern, if you purchased the downloadable PDF the updates are not needed.
Page 11: Paragraph 4 should read as follows: On the RIGHT side of the Poncho, starting 2” to the left of a side seam and leaving about 3” of the bias strip free, attach bias to bottom of Poncho RIGHT sides facing with a 1/2” seam allowance, stopping about 1” to the right of the same seam. Backstitch at both ends. Leave bias tails long (7b).
Page 12: Paragraph 1 should read as follows: Next, lay one tail end of the bias strip over the side seam and mark where the bias strip crosses the side seam (7c). Repeat with the opposite tail of the bias strip (7d).
Page 13: Paragraph 2 should read as follows: Press the bias and seam allowance down, away from the Poncho (7f). Turn poncho inside out and fold the raw edge of the bias strip up to meet the raw edge of the Poncho, and press (7g). If any of the Poncho seam allowance is too bulky, you can trim sparingly (7h). Just be sure not to clip into any stitches.
Page 14: Disregard paragraph 3: these instructions were duplicated.
